Medication & Behavior: Star Boy is a high energy dog with high prey drive. He is able to leap over a seven foot fence easily. He loves to run and play chase, and needs a lot of mental and physical enrichment to keep him busy at home. Because of his needs for physical exertion, his training plan includes a round of intensive sport dog skill building, which will have him at a facility working round the clock learning specific recall signals that will keep him safer and give him jobs to do. Star Boy will be an excellent working dog, he is nearing the end of his adolescence and as he matures, instilling recall in him is his most important skill. His high prey drive is also a behavior of concern and he should be watched carefully in the presence of cats and other small animals. Sport dog training will instill in him a set of rules around chase and recall that will help keep him safe, and keep him home in the future. Whoever has him now is keeping a dog that does not belong with him and we will not agree to a transfer request. Our family has invested valuable time and resources in our dog, Star Boy. He is missed, and clearly wanted back home. We will be very grateful to the good samaritans who help us bring Star Boy home.
