Hello, my daughter aged 9 wants a small pet at home. Before we had 2 gerbil girls but the last died last autumn. Now we are waiving between rats and hamsters. We plan to have 2 pets; they should be social making a close bond with my daughter but not nocturnal. What would you suggest?
